fly-posting gang exposed by this blog

The definition of fly-posting encompasses

the unlawful advertising of an event, service or business by affixing posters, signs, pictures, notices, etc to any permanent fixture such as a railing or a lamp-post, in or on the highway, or on a tree.

Waltham Forest Council takes this enviro-crime very seriously.

Lynda Dyson, of Avon Road, Walthamstow, was issued with a £75 notice for putting up a poster about her missing cat, Fluffy

The council, which is running a campaign to clamp down on environmental crime,
issued the fixed-penalty notice to Ms Dyson under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act for fly-posting.

I am sorry to say a far more serious offender is at large than Ms Dyson. All over central Walthamstow there are posters attached to lamp-posts in blatant breach of the law. They are advertising a meeting which was held last Tuesday. Plainly these irresponsible enviro-criminals have no intention of coming back to remove them.

Even worse the event was organised was by a bunch of left-wing troublemakers who are clearly trying to stir things up. If an angry mob gathers outside the Town Hall and smashes its way inside screaming this is the last straw we shall know who to blame.

This is why it is important that we nip this kind of thing in the bud once and for all. If you know the whereabouts of lead troublemaker Stella Creasy please phone the Town Hall now so that a squad of environmental inspectors and riot police can swoop on her and uncover the facts behind this ugly explosion of enviro-crime.
