Assisted suicide schemes for cyclists in Waltham Forest

(Above) The driver's perspective. Cyclists using the off-road cycle lane on Forest Road rejoin the A503 by emerging from behind the railings on the left. There are no signs to warn drivers that cyclists may suddenly appear in the road ahead. Two lanes of traffic also merge at this point.

(Below) This simple but classic design invites cyclists to exit the off-road cycle lane directly into the path of fast moving traffic on the A106.

(Below) Exit the off-road cycle lane directly into the path of traffic on the A112. Since wide vehicles regularly drive in the cycle lane here a swift end is a reasonable certainty.

(Below) This Crooked Billet site offers a quick, painless end. Just exit the cycle lane into the road at this point, emerging directly into the path of fast moving traffic which can't see you because of the wall. A white arrow on the road shows drivers in which direction to go in order to best hit a cyclist.
